1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to AIStory.ink, the AIStory app and related services operated by Run aWei LLC. For privacy inquiries, contact wei@weic.ai

We process personal information as needed to provide services, with your consent, or as required by applicable law. We provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.

2. Information we collect and use

The information collected depends on the features you use. Optional features are your choice; withholding necessary information may affect the relevant service.

3. AI creation and content processing

When you use AI creation, necessary input and story context are sent to the relevant AI service to generate results. Saving or generating a personal work does not automatically make it public. Processing is also subject to the provider’s policies and service arrangements.

Do not submit unrelated sensitive information or someone else’s information without authorization. Check generated content for private information before sharing it.

4. Cookies, local storage and permissions

We use necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and save preferences and drafts. You can clear this data through browser or system settings, but may need to sign in again or lose unsaved content.

Features such as saving images request permissions when needed, which you can manage in system settings. Features with ads provide relevant privacy choices for you to manage.

5. Retention and processing locations

We retain information only as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. After content or account deletion, we delete or anonymize information as applicable, except for transaction, security and dispute records that must be retained by law.

Some services may process information outside your country or region. We will meet applicable requirements for notice, consent and protection.

6. Information security

We take reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access, disclosure or loss of personal information. Keep your account and sign-in credentials secure. If a security incident occurs, we will take action and provide notice as required.

7. Your rights and account deletion

As provided by applicable law, you may access, copy, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, or request restrictions, object to processing or request data transfer.

• Manage your profile and work in the app, or request account deletion under My profile → Account → Delete account.
• Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel subscriptions; cancel web subscriptions through wei@weic.ai and App Store or Google Play subscriptions through the store where you purchased them. Refunds & cancellation
• Withdrawing necessary permissions may affect features, but does not affect lawful processing already carried out before withdrawal.

For other requests, email wei@weic.ai. We may verify your identity as necessary and respond within the period required by applicable law. Do not send passwords or verification codes by email.

8. Protection of minors

AIStory is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you discover that a minor has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can verify and take appropriate action.

9. Policy updates and contact

This policy may change as services or applicable requirements change. We will provide appropriate notice of significant changes and obtain renewed consent where legally required.
