What can AIStory do?
Choose a story opening, characters and settings, then guide the plot in your own words. Continue writing, edit or rewrite passages, and generate illustrations for your story.
Do I need to sign in to read?
Public story descriptions and openings are available without signing in. Sign in to start writing and manage your own stories.
Will my continuation be public?
Personal workspaces are stored separately from public templates. Your story text, history and images are only available to you after signing in.
Can I use a phone or computer?
Yes. Computers offer a multi-column writing space, while phones use a single-column layout with touch-friendly controls.
How is generation charged?
Generation uses gems. The cost is shown before each confirmation. Manual edits, undo and redo do not call an AI model.
How do I start my first story?
Open Playground, choose a story you like and read its opening. When you are ready, continue from there or add instructions for what should happen next. Signing in lets you keep writing in your personal workspace.
Do I need to write a prompt every time?
No. You can continue the story without extra instructions. If you have a direction in mind, describe the next event, mood or character reaction in the writing instructions.
How can I get a continuation closer to my idea?
Be specific about what you want to happen, who is involved and what should stay unchanged. For example: let the two characters discover the letter, but do not reveal who sent it yet. Review the result and refine the parts that need work.
Can I choose which story materials to use?
Open the story settings to review its characters, plot and world settings. Adjust the available material switches and save your choices before continuing. Changing settings does not rewrite passages already in your story.
Can I edit a passage instead of continuing the whole story?
Yes. Select a passage in the writing workspace to edit it, or request a rewrite with your instructions. Manual editing and AI rewriting are different actions; check the displayed cost before submitting an AI request.
Can I create illustrations for my story?
Use the illustration tool in the writing workspace to describe the scene you want. Check the available model, options and cost before generating. Review the image afterwards: character details and text in an image may need adjustment.
Where can I find a story I was working on?
Sign in with the same account and open the recent stories list in Playground. If you archived the story, switch to the archive view. A public story opening you only viewed may not appear as a saved personal story.
What should I do if generation stops or the connection drops?
Check the current task status before submitting again. A lost connection does not necessarily mean the task failed. Keep your instructions, wait for the status to update and contact support if it remains stuck.
What is the difference between membership and gem top-ups?
Membership is a plan with its own billing period and listed benefits. A gem top-up adds gems and does not by itself activate membership. Check the current pricing page and checkout details for the amount, benefits and payment terms.
Does changing the interface language translate my story?
No. The language selector changes interface text and the language of stories shown in discovery. It does not automatically translate your existing story text, character names or writing instructions.
