Latitude opens Voyage Creator API for external world editing and publishing

Voyage Creator API gives Claude Code, Codex and custom scripts access to world drafts, linking editing, validation and publishing without manual transfers.

External tools gain access to Studio drafts

Latitude announced in September 2026 that Voyage Creator API is open to creators. External tools including Claude Code, Codex and custom scripts can retrieve, edit, diagnose, validate, save and publish the same world drafts used in Creator Studio.

The company says the interface reduces repeated JSON exports, context copying and manual transfers back to Studio.

A test creator used the API throughout worldbuilding

Latitude describes a creator who spent two months testing the API for maps, character portraits, instructions, JSON repairs and system diagnosis. The creator highlighted the ability to move from validation to saving and publishing without repeatedly transferring changes between tools.

API-key use does not consume Voyage usage

Creators can generate an API key in their world’s Creator Studio settings and access integration documentation there. Latitude says using the API key does not consume Voyage usage.
